After going to so many different dental place I felt like home at this one. Friendly, fun yet professional staff. Knew what they were doing, took the time to explain and show me what they see, and what they wanted to do to fix it. I honestly didn't think anything was gonna be done today but I got a cleaning, and temporary bridge to keep my teeth from sensitivity since my cracked one fell out during the visit. I didn't even feel the usual pinch you get when numbing, I only had to be numbed one poke on each side not 6/7 pokes on half a side. I finally felt like my voice and concerns were heard and action was taken to help. 1,000% going back and sticking with these guys. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and thank you Dr for taking care of me. I'm pain free!!! Had an implant done yesterday and even though I'm high anxiety it wasn't all that bad. Today I'm a little sore as expected but not as I thought I'd be. The staff, Dr and surgeon all took great care of me. Dr Z himself called today to see how I was feeling. Now that's care! I'll definitely be recommending to anyone else looking. Thank you all again and see you all soon!

How We Help

Weekend pain problems we treat first

If you are in pain, start here. These are the weekend problems patients call about most when they need help fast and want to know what the next step actually is.

Patient in pain from a severe toothache

Tooth pain

Sharp pain, throbbing, pressure, pain with hot or cold, or pain that keeps you up at night usually means something is wrong underneath the surface. We find the source and explain whether the tooth needs a filling, root canal, extraction, or short-term relief first.

Patient holding an ice pack to swelling from a dental infection

Swelling and dental infection

Swelling in the gums, cheek, or jaw can be a sign of infection. We check the area, take x-rays when needed, and explain whether the right next step is medication, drainage, root canal treatment, extraction, or close follow-up.

Broken front tooth before emergency dental treatment

Broken tooth or crown off

A chipped tooth, cracked tooth, lost filling, or crown that came off can get worse fast if it is left open. Bring the piece with you if you have it. We check whether it can be bonded, rebuilt, re-cemented, or needs a bigger repair.

Wisdom tooth x-ray used for extraction planning

Wisdom tooth pain

Pain in the back of the mouth, swollen gums around a wisdom tooth, or pain when biting down may need extraction planning. We review the x-ray and tell you whether it can wait or needs urgent attention.

Nearby Areas We Serve

Patients come in from Bradenton, Venice, and the surrounding Gulf Coast

We are based in Sarasota, but weekend dental access is limited across the region. Patients often come from nearby cities when they want a private office that can handle the emergency now and the follow-up work after.

Why Patients Choose This Office

Weekend help now, and one office for what comes next

Some patients find us because they need help today. Others come because they want one office they can stay with after the emergency is handled. Either way, the goal is the same: get you diagnosed, get you comfortable, and give you a clear next step.

Weekend emergency visits with a real plan

One-on-one visits with the doctor, needed x-rays, prescriptions when appropriate, and a personalized treatment plan so the visit actually moves things forward.

Private-office dentistry

No corporate handoff, no one-size-fits-all sales pitch, and no pressure to say yes to treatment before you understand what is going on.

Same office for follow-up care

If you need a crown, bridge, implant workup, deep cleaning, or gum treatment after the urgent visit, you can stay with the same office instead of starting over somewhere else.

Meet The Office

Private-practice dentistry with weekend urgency and weekday follow-through

Dr. Yakub Zavlanov

Patients come here when they are hurting, and many stay because they realize the same office can also handle the next step. Weekend emergencies matter here, but so do crowns, bridges, implants, deep cleanings, and gum treatment during the week.

No corporate feel. No being treated like a number. Just a diagnosis, an honest conversation, and a treatment plan built around what you actually need.

Beyond The Emergency

Weekday care for the bigger treatment decisions

Once the pain is controlled, many patients stay here for the next step instead of starting over somewhere else. This is where we help with missing teeth, crowns and bridges, gum treatment, and private-office planning.

Missing teeth and implant planning

If a tooth is missing or has to come out, we explain implant timing, bridge alternatives, temporary options, and what makes the most sense for long-term function.

Crowns, bridges, and rebuilds

Some teeth are savable but need more than a quick patch. We plan crowns, bridge replacement, buildups, and restorative follow-through after the emergency visit.

Deep cleanings and gum treatment

If the bigger issue is periodontal disease, bleeding gums, or tenderness, we explain what is active and what type of cleaning or gum treatment is actually needed.

Private-office second opinions

If you were given a large treatment plan somewhere else, we can sort out what needs attention now, what can wait, and what is worth a second look before you commit.

FAQ

Emergency questions first, plus crowns, implants, and gum-care answers

These FAQs are built for real patient questions, especially the ones that come up on weekends when people are in pain, and during the week when they are researching bigger treatment.

What is included in a weekend emergency visit?

Our weekend emergency visit includes a one-on-one visit with the doctor, needed x-rays, prescriptions when clinically appropriate, and a personalized treatment plan so you know what needs to happen next.

Can you see me on Saturday or Sunday for a toothache or swelling?

Yes. We built this office to help patients who wake up in pain on the weekend. Toothaches, swelling, abscesses, cracked teeth, broken crowns, and dental infections are all reasons to call right away.

What if no online appointment is available?

If no online time is showing and you need urgent dental help, call 941-899-0260 so our team can check same-day options and get you in as soon as possible.

When should I go to the ER instead of an emergency dentist?

Call 911 or go to the emergency room for trouble breathing, severe facial swelling, uncontrolled bleeding, major facial trauma, or symptoms that feel life-threatening. For tooth pain, swelling, broken teeth, loose crowns, or dental infection concerns, call the dental office right away.

Are you open on holidays for dental emergencies?

We are often available for holiday weekend and some major holiday dental emergencies in Sarasota, including periods around Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Availability can vary by the specific date and doctor coverage, so call first to confirm same-day emergency availability.

Do you offer same-day emergency tooth extractions?

When a tooth cannot be saved, we evaluate the area, take needed x-rays, and explain whether a same-day emergency extraction is the right next step. The goal is to get you out of pain safely and give you a clear plan for healing and replacement if needed.

Do you offer same-day root canals for tooth pain?

If the tooth is restorable and the clinical situation allows, we do offer same-day root canals to help stop severe tooth pain and infection. We will tell you honestly whether the tooth is best treated with a root canal, extraction, or short-term stabilization first.

Do you only handle emergencies, or can I come in during the week too?

Yes. During the week we also see patients for crowns, bridges, implants, deep cleanings, gum treatment, and follow-up care after an emergency visit, so you do not have to start over at a different office.

Can you fix a broken crown, loose bridge, or cracked tooth?

Yes. We evaluate the tooth, take x-rays if needed, and then walk you through whether the right next step is a repair, a new crown, a bridge solution, a root canal, or an extraction. The goal is to stabilize the problem and keep the treatment honest.

Do you offer dental implants and implant planning?

Yes. We help patients who are missing teeth, have teeth that may not be savable, or want to understand whether implants make more sense than another bridge or removable option. We explain the timeline, the healing steps, and what to expect before treatment starts.

Can bleeding gums or deep cleaning needs wait?

Not always. Bleeding gums, deep pockets, bad taste, or tenderness can be signs of active gum disease. During the week we can evaluate whether you need a standard cleaning, scaling and root planing, or a bigger periodontal plan so the problem does not keep getting worse.

Are you a private office or a corporate chain?

We are a private office. Patients come here because they want straight answers, real access to the doctor, and treatment recommendations based on what they need instead of a corporate script.

Will I be pressured into treatment I do not need?

No. Our approach is simple: diagnose the problem, explain the options, tell you what is urgent and what can wait, and build a plan that fits your mouth, your timeline, and your budget.

Do you see patients from Bradenton, Venice, and other nearby cities?

Yes. Patients come to our Sarasota office from Bradenton, Venice, Lakewood Ranch, Osprey, Nokomis, Siesta Key, and nearby areas for weekend emergency visits and weekday restorative care.

Is it worth driving to Sarasota for a weekend emergency dentist?

Many patients decide it is, especially when they have a toothache, swelling, a broken tooth, or a loose crown and cannot find a weekend appointment closer to home. The goal is to get you seen, get the problem diagnosed, and give you a real plan.
